The best way to enjoy a reward is to share it. Since Tobin Properties was founded we have been involved in “giving back” to our community both as individuals and as a company, working with charities and organizations that promote better health, a richer artistic life, and more opportunities for every one of our citizens. Some of the causes we sponsor are:

The Listeners/Oyentes Program – Sponsored by The Francine and Herbert Tobin Foundation and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the program began in 1976. Tobin Properties’ staff administers and actively participates in this program. The Listeners/Oyentes Program trains volunteers to join the student’s world without judgment. Since its inception, countless volunteer hours have been invested to provide thousands of children with the support necessary to build positive self-esteem and develop their own problem-solving skills.
The Ben Tobin Foundation – has supported education and the arts for three generations. The Foundation is a major contributor to WPBT 2, the largest Public Broadcasting Station in South Florida, sponsoring programs such as the Jim Lehrer Report and Nova, as well as children’s programming which include Barney and Sesame Street.
Broward County's Adopt-A-Street Program – Tobin Properties has adopted Ben Tobin Drive (Hillcrest Drive), which is located in Hollywood, Florida and houses 2500 residential units and our Executive Offices. All Tobin Properties’ employees take to the street to pick up litter and beautify the area. This year alone, the team has removed over 200 pounds of litter from the landscape.
March of Dimes – March for Babies – Every Spring the Tobin Properties’ team participates in the six-mile walk that is held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Participants raise money to support the program’s initiatives, which include improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Tobin Properties continues to support this cause and will be walking next spring in Miami, Florida.
