By his own admission, Jason Tobin “hangs out at about 30,000 feet", a vantage point from which he can view the big picture as he creates and develops real estate strategies. Representing the third generation of the family to join the company, Jason is responsible for growing the company through the development of existing assets and procuring new opportunities for Tobin Properties, our partners and clients. He also oversees the leasing of the entire portfolio we represent, including Tobin Properties portfolio. During his career, he has successfully negotiated millions of square feet of leases.
Over the past twenty years Jason has used his extensive experience in management, leasing and real estate brokerage operations to increase the value of many of Tobin’s investments. He has helped Tobin seize opportunities in the retail, residential, office and medical property arenas. Relying on his years of experience and instincts, he adds value at every stage, from ground up development to project fruition.
As a licensed Florida and Georgia Real Estate Broker, a licensed Florida Mortgage Broker, and a licensed Florida Community Association Manager, Jason runs all of Tobin’s brokerage operations, and he is responsible for Joint Venture and Partnership Opportunity Development.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Miami. He also holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the CCIM Institute, the designation of Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Jason served for over a decade on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Miami, was a Vice Chairman of that institution, and has the pleasure of being the Big Brother to the same child for over 18 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Grand Opera, and is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Jason is currently the Vice Chargé de Missions of the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs - Bailliage de Greater Fort Lauderdale.
